ABOUT

 

We are Star Nursery, we are a non-profit charity run nursery situated in the grounds of Chiltern Primary School, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG22 5BB. We can accomodate 69 children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Star Nursery is a purpose-built setting and has 3 rooms. Children have access to outside areas from all rooms. We provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children and parents/carers are valued as individuals.

We welcome all children and serve the local community, we are open 5 days a week from 8:00am - 6:00pm with a range of start/finish times convenient to yourselves. We accept the 2, 3 and 4 year old EYE funding both 15 and 30 hours for those who are eligible. 

​

We work in partnership with parents and carers by listening and acting on discussions. Practitioners carry out effective observations and assessments to ensure all children's individual needs and requirements are met. Our practitioners provide stimulating, attractive activities that are based on the children's interests so they are able to explore, investigate, learn and take appropriate risks.
