The first few months of life allows the greatest amount of learning, your child will have lots of opportunities to explore fun activities that are planned for purpose and set out daily. This room is designed solely for children aged 3 months-2 years.

There are 4 areas to the baby room, a carpeted play area for non-mobile children, this area is secured with a gate/a large carpeted play area for the mobile children, a messy/snack area and a grassed garden area.The babies come together throughout the day as this gives them the opportunity to develop their personal, social and emotional skills.

Babies are particularly vulnerable to change, they learn to be independent by having someone they can depend on. This is one of the reasons we have a key person system, it is essential that your child builds a strong relationship with their key person, your child's key person will work with you as parents/carer to learn your needs, your babies routine and individual needs.

The babies’ activities are planned using the EYFS framework. At the end of each session you will be given written and verbal feedback on how your child's day has been, nappy changes and sleeps etc.
